Special offerings

One Great Hour of Sharing enables the church to provide relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and help to empower the poor and oppressed through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Hunger Program, and the Self Development of People Program. This offering is traditionally received during on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.

The Peace and Global Witness Offering promotes the Peace of Christ by addressing systems of injustice across the world. Individual congregations may use up to 25% of this Offering to sustain local peacemaking ministries. It is received during the Season of Peace, which ends on World Communion Sunday.

The Christmas Joy Offering supports Presbyterian racial ethnic schools and the assistance programs of the Board of Pensions. This offering is received during the Advent season.
