Aiming to help those in crisis in Shelby County to become self-sufficient.
Shelby Emergency Assistance (SEA) provides support to families in crisis in Shelby County. Services include a food pantry, short-term financial aid, assistance in budgeting and finding employment, and help in securing permanent housing.
MPC provides financial support for SEA, contributes regularly to its food pantry, and participates in Project Schoolhouse, which provides school supplies for children in need, and Project Christmas, which provides gifts and food for a local family. A portion of every offering to MPC goes to Shelby Emergency Assistance as a part of our mission giving.
